Toby and his custom-built Melrose Rhino Rugby Wheelchair

Elifar are delighted to have contributed £1,000 towards the purchase of this custom-built Melrose Rhino Rugby Wheelchair costing £7,873.

Toby is 21 years old and was born with cerebral palsy which impacts his muscle tone and balance in his core, legs and hands.  He is currently attending Bournemouth university.

It is so amazing and the custom fitting means I am now in the perfect position to get the most out of my chair.  I was quite quick in my old chair but I think I’ll be even quicker now. The new chair will allow me to become the best player I can be, push on in my rugby journey with nothing holding me back, I love it”

Toby would love to compete in the Paralympics.
