Happy Feet sensory mats for Riley
The mats help Riley enormously with his sensory needs.
Elifar has provided funding for some ‘Happy Feet’ sensory mats for Riley who is 5 years old and has a dual diagnosis of ADHD and ASD.
The mats help Riley enormously with his sensory needs. They are colourful with different textures and as he is uncomfortable with certain textures beneath his feet these have really helped him build up his tolerance for walking on, for example, grass. He also displays sensory seeking behaviours and can play with his ‘Happy Feet’ play mats for hours.
He is benefitting very much from sensory equipment within the home, providing him with help to unwind and explore the world around him.
