Frankie’s Joyful Ride

The trike offers Frankie a chance to participate in family fun, supporting her physical well-being and bringing joy to her daily life.

8 year old Frankie was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a neuromuscular condition affecting a whole range of muscular activity, breathing and swallowing.  Elifar made a contribution of £1,634 towards the purchase of this specialized trike with trailer which gives Frankie the opportunity to join her family and friends in outdoor activities rather than watch the fun from her wheelchair.  Using the trike is expected to delay the inevitable deterioration in Frankie’s condition over time.  Frankie’s mum says “her smiley face is a true testimony of how much she enjoys using the trike”
