Attendant propelled power pack for Jack

'It has really improved our life so much'.

Jack is 16 years old and has a diagnosis of autism, ADHD and multiple profound learning difficulties.  Jack is able to walk short distances and requires a wheelchair much of the time.  His parents have found it increasingly difficult to manage his manual wheelchair raising concerns that he was spending much of his time in the house leading to social isolation.

Elifar have funded the purchase of an attendant propelled power pack costing £899 which has been fitted to Jack’s manual wheelchair.  It reduces the risk of injury and stress for the pushers.

Jack’s mum says “I Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you so much for our funding. It has really improved our life so much, as we can go for so many more walks with Jack, giving him a much better quality of life – it also means I can push him now too!”
