Abel and his robotic standing mobility device

Abel contracted meningococcal septicemia when he was 21 months old causing brain damage, spastic Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy, learning disability and Epilepsy.  He is now 27 years old and, with the help of his family and friends, was able to raise an incredible £21,400 to purchase this robotic standing mobility device.  Elifar contributed £5,000 towards the fundraising.

Abel is using his Tek RMD regularly throughout the week. It’s really
invaluable for him to be up on his feet and get essential weight bearing.
Along with his daily physio and fitness routines it enables him to preserve
a very healthy and independent life.
